HESLERTON Hurricanes Under-8s travelled to Seamer and both sides claimed a win in two entertaining games of football.
Both teams made great use of the ball at their feet, with a hat-trick from Alfie Grice and goals from Charlie Emmerson and Rory
Garnett sealing a victory for the visitors.
The man of the match award went to Chester Driver for his double hat-trick, hard work and determination.
Heslerton Heroes U10s welcomed Holt of Filey and both teams played some fantastic end to end football in a pulsating game.
The Heslerton goalscorer was Louie Spencer, with Reece Wright scooping the player of the game for an outstanding defensive display.
The second game saw no goalscorer for the Hessy blues, but Harry Massheder got the player of the game for a brilliant all round performance.
There was a much improved performance from Heslerton U13s as they welcomed top of the table Ayton.
Heslerton took the game to the league leaders and had them on the back foot for most of the game, but they found themselves a goal down in the second half with a thunderbolt flying past the keeper.
Heslerton continued to press and Matthew Moss chased down a through ball and rolled the ball
into the empty net after the
keeper's clearance had cannoned off him.
However, Ayton snatched a winner late on with another wonder strike from a free kick.
Credit should go to both teams, who were evenly matched and produced a fantastic entertaining game of football.
