PUPILS at Kirkbymoorside Primary School have been demonstrating their sporting skills with a string of successes.
The school’s Year 6 hockey team will represent Ryedale after winning two rounds to reach the North Yorkshire final in July.
Meanwhile, the tag rugby players competed against five other teams to become overall champions and represent the area at a district competition next month.
PE co-ordinator Anna Aspery said both teams had done really well. “They have been absolutely amazing to get so far,” she said.
“The school’s sports teams have been doing so well we may have to get a bigger trophy cabinet in the hall.”
