Youngsters from Pickering Community Junior School, who impressed in the gymnastics competition at Lady Lumley’s School
TWO teams from Pickering Community Junior School took part in the Year 3/4 cluster gymnastics competition at Lady Lumley's School, Pickering.
After an hour's training with Lady Lumley's sports leaders, the gymnasts competed in body management, vault and a floor routine.
Everyone showed improvement throughout the afternoon, and the Pickering Community youngsters, pictured, came away with first and fourth positions in the team rankings.
The top five gymnasts are now to compete in the Ryedale & Whitby Partnership finals after Christmas.
