KIRKBYMOORSIDE’S Tatyana Heard has signed a new deal with Gloucester-Hartpury.
Alex Matthews and Emma Sing have also put pen to paper with last year’s Allianz Premier 15s champions, who became the first team outside of London to lift the trophy with victory over Exeter Chiefs.
Heard, who began her career at Malton & Norton, is one of the club’s most experienced players, having first made the move to Kingsholm in 2017.
The centre has been a key part of the club’s continued success, and started at 12 throughout their successful Premier 15s campaign.
During her time in Gloucestershire, she has also become a regular in the England set-up.
Heard started Saturday’s 46-10 rout of Wales, a match during which fellow former Malton & Norton junior Zoe Aldcroft capped her 50th England appearance with a try.
On signing her new deal, Heard told the club: “I’ve been part of the Gloucester-Hartpury squad since 2017 and I’m so excited for the future with the team. It’s a great environment to be a part of.
“We’ve started this season really well and I’m looking forward to getting back for the remainder of the season.”
