YORK Racecourse is to host an evening of boxing tomorrow night between William Hill Racing staff featuring pugilists from Middleham and Malton.
On the card are jockeys who ride with Ryedale-based trainers Tim Easterby, Brian Ellison, John Quinn and Nigel Tinkler, as well as TV pundits and people who work at York Racecourse.
Sponsored by William Hill, the boxing night will see 22 competitors from the racing industry coming together following eight weeks of intensive training delivered by Ultra White Collar Boxing.
Doors open at 6pm for hospitality guests and 7pm for standing admissions. The dress code is black tie and the aim of the night is to raise money for Racing Welfare.
