Scarborough Athletic enjoyed a fine Christmas week, picking up four points on their travels to stay in touch with the play-off places in Evo-Stik League division one south.
Chris Bolder was the hero on Boxing Day, scoring twice in the second half as the Seadogs won 3-1 at mid-table Goole.
Tom Davie had put Boro ahead and Bolder netted either side of a Vinny Mukendi riposte.
Scarborough twice went ahead at Leek Town on Saturday but on each occasion were quickly pegged back as the game ended 2-2. It was still a fine result for the Seadogs, the hosts currently sitting pretty in second place.
Ryan Blott scored the opener on 24 minutes but within two minutes John Johnston equalised. Ryan Williams edged Boro ahead after the break but within four minutes Jordan Johnson levelled from the spot.
Boro host Lincoln United tomorrow (New Year’s Day) and entertain Romulus on Saturday.
