RYEDALE residents are being encouraged to add their support to the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee with the help of a new guide.
The district council has produced an advice leaflet, available online at the council’s website – providing useful tips on how to organise community events to celebrate the jubilee.
Coun Keith Knaggs, leader of Ryedale District Council, said: “The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee guide is designed to help residents make the most of this truly diamond occasion.
“Included in the guide are details of organised events, ways to celebrate that you can arrange locally and web links to national celebrations.”
He added: “So bring out the bunting and celebrate Her Majesty’s long reign.”
