A MUSIC night at a popular Malton pub raised £520 for the Gazette & Herald’s defilbrilator appeal – despite a disappointing turnout.
The music at Suddaby’s in Wheelgate last Friday was supplied by one-man rock show, Martin Gough.
There was also a disco, raffle and a tombola and some of the prizes left over from that will be used at a Wednesday quiz night.
One of the organsiers, Jeanette Oxtoby, said: “It was a rather disappointing turnout but we are grateful for all those who supported it and those who gave donations.
“We also want to thank Karen and Neil Suddaby for their support.”
