THANKS to the generous donations of our readers, The Pulse Appeal is growing by the day.
The Gazette & Herald is grateful to all those individuals who have made a contribution to the appeal to buy two defibrillators for Malton and Norton.
More than 40 items have also been given for a raffle at the Union pub in Norton.
The raffle has been organised as part of a quiz night on Sunday, August 15 starting at 8pm.
Tickets are available from the Gazette & Herald office in Yorkersgate, Malton, and the Union pub in Commercial Street.
Landlady Debbie Cook said they had been overwhelmed by the amount of prizes donated.
“It is fantastic that people have been so generous,” she added.
