THE sentencing of the man convicted of the manslaughter of two apprentice jockeys in York has been postponed.
Peter William Brown, 37, of Brotherton, near Selby, was found guilty of starting the fire which killed 18-year-old Jamie Kyne and 19-year-old Jan Wilson at a block of flats in Norton last September.
Brown was convicted at Leeds Crown Court for manslaughter after a 19-day trial in May, and he is currently being held in custody. He was due to be sentenced on Friday, but Leeds Crown Court said it had been postponed and a new date had not yet been set.
