PERSONNEL at RAF Leeming have raised more than £1,000 for a special-needs school that was the adopted charity, this year, of RAF Leeming Supply and Movements Squadron.
Several events were staged over the year, from a beat-the-goalie stall to a '70s disco - and two servicemen raised funds by taking part in the Great North run. In all, £1,018 was raised for Mowbray School at Bedale.
Pictured presenting the cheque are (from left) Sgt Tony Dunn, Snr Aircraftsman Mick Downey, Flight Lt John Motley, Snr Aircraftswoman Helen Deighton, Cpl Paul Le Bon.
