A DREAM has come true for ten-year-old Jessica Tucker of Stamford Bridge under-10s football team.

She has signed for Leeds United Ladies after some stunning performances in goal.

Bridge manager Steve Benn said: "Jess has been our regular keeper for the past two seasons, during that time she has made some spectacular saves. In November 2000, she took centre stage in front of Bradford City's home crowd in a penalty shoot-out prior to the Premier League match between Bradford City and Everton."

He went on to say: "Jess is a real asset to our club and I am thrilled that she has attracted attention from one of the top Premier League clubs."

Jessica, who attends Leavening Primary School, will continue to play for Stamford Bridge under-10s until the end of the season. When her Leeds commitments allow, she will also play for her school.

A delighted Jessica said: "I can now officially play in the same kit as Nigel Martyn. It's a dream come true!"
