MOORLAND sheep potter around a highly unusual slice of Ryedale history at Bank Top, Rosedale.
The remains which form the centrepiece of this photograph are the remnants of kilns from the iron-ore mining boom in Rosedale.
This picture was taken by Kirkbymoorside and District Camera Club photographer David Ireland. He used a Canon EOS 100 with a 28-80mm lens with polarising filter.
David, a resident of Keld Head, Pickering, is currently chairman of the Kirkbymoorside and District Camera Club.
The club always welcomes new members. For more information, contact Janet Burdon on (01751) 472110 or David Ireland on (01751) 473652.
