IN the autumn, Settrington School celebrates 150 years.
It was in 1852 that the mellow stone building housing the Church of England school was opened.
Next autumn, the school plans a big event to mark the years and remember the children who have passed through its doors.
Head teacher Yvonne Wilson and former head Colin Wigglesworth would love to hear from people with tales to tell, old pupils and teachers, and to uncover memorabilia including books and photographs. In fact - anything to help build up a picture of life at the school through the generations would be appreciated.
The contacts are Yvonne Wilson during term time on (01944) 768238 or Colin Wigglesworth at any time on (01944) 768314.
