CHILDREN at St Mary's Roman Catholic Primary School in Malton are raising money for Blue Peter's WaterWorks Appeal this Friday by holding a bring and buy sale.
Funds from the appeal, organised in conjunction with WaterAid, will go towards providing clean water and sanitation to 30,000 people in Tanzania and Uganda. St Mary's pupils will be bringing in all manner of items to sell and help contribute to the scheme, which is aimed at raising £500,000.
All are welcome at the sale, which begins at 2.30pm in the school on Highfield Road.
