CALLING all children!
A new children's continental shoe shop will be opening in Malton early next year and it needs your help.
The shop, Stamp Your Feet!, is calling on children to create a foot design which will act as a logo for the business.
The winning entry will earn its designer £150 worth of vouchers to spend at Stamp Your Feet!, while an accompanying adult will receive a pedicure, courtesy of No 1 Health and Beauty, in Malton market place.
The competition is open to all children who can draw and colour, and who take a continental shoe size from 18 up to 39.
Those wanting to enter the competition are asked to draw around one of their feet and brightly decorate the inside of the foot shape.
The winning foot design will go underneath the exclamation mark in the shop's name and will be reproduced on stationary, promotional material, in adverts and on signs both inside and outside the shop.
As well as the prizes mentioned above, the winning child and an accompanying adult must be available on Saturday, January 24, to be transported by chauffeur-driven Mini, courtesy of Malton Motors, to Stamp Your Feet! where they will cut the ribbon to open the shop.
The designs should be on a sheet of white, A4 paper. A second sheet of paper should be used to indicate the name, age, address and telephone number of the entrant, as well as the name of the adult who would accompany them to the opening of the shop, should they win.
All entries should be sent to Stamp Your Feet!, 2 Yorkersgate, Malton, YO17 7AB, by Saturday, December 13.
