SAUCY underwear is replacing home-made cakes and scones as a way of raising money for one Ryedale charity committee.
Adele Jennison and Sarah Hill will hold an Ann Summers evening at Pickering Memorial Hall along with a buffet and "an abundance of wine" in aid of the Pickering and Thornton-le-Dale branch of Save The Children at the end of January.
"There are so many charity coffee mornings these days that we are all competing against each other and there is not very much money to be made," said Adele. "This is something different. It's a bit of fun and, hopefully, it will give the charity a real boost."
Tickets costing £15 are on sale now for the event which will take place on January 23. Doors open at 7pm.
