York FA Senior Minor Cup - Heworth under-16s 1 - Pickering Town under-16s 2. THE Pikes booked a March semi-final place last Sunday, at Huntington, after Mike Jamel-Jenow got the winner with 15 minutes to go.
He scored with a neat finish from ten yards after good build-up play involving Bobby Ehima and Oliver Campbell. Earlier, Matthew Bower had put Town in front after ten minutes, converting a corner driven in low at the near post. Heworth equalised on the stroke of half-time after a mix-up in the Pikes' defence.
Centre-back Paul Grayson was Pickering's man of the match, with impressive displays from Bobby Ehima and Joel Ramm.
