LOCAL television personality Paul Hudson (pictured right) was in Ryedale to meet some of the four-legged participants of last weekend's husky race.
The BBC Look North weatherman was getting a sneak preview of the spectacle hundreds of spectators enjoyed when they visited the forest near Pickering for a two-day rally organised by the Siberian Husky Club of Great Britain.
The event saw 66 teams from across England, Wales and Scotland battle it out for the racing honours.
"It's very exciting at the start because the teams do tend to set off very quickly," said Nicky Spowart, of York, who organised the rally with her husband Alistair.
