Forward on Wednesday, March 9, were 2469 head of stock comprising 431 cattle including 225 clean, 206 bulls, 1239 sheep including 1154 hoggs and 75 ewes, 809 pigs including 65 sows and 4 boars.
Cattle: steers medium to 142.5p (105.8p), heavy to 136.5p (106.9p). Heifers light to 121.5p (98.9p), medium to 144.5p (112.6p), heavy to 146.5p (110.5p). Bulls light to 97.5p (76.3p), medium to 127.5p (94.9p), heavy to 133.5p (104.2p). Overall average 104.8p.
Sheep: Hoggs light to 129.7p (110.1p), medium to 135p (111.9p), heavy to 116.3p (103.7p). Overall average 108.6p. Ewes £48 (£30.97).

Thursday, March 9, at the weekly sale of prime stock there were forward 3,344 head comprising 523 prime cattle including 224 young bulls, 2,494 prime sheep including 249 ewes, 317 prime pigs, including 153 sows and 10 boars. Prices realised:
