A MAN has been left with serious head injuries after being attacked in the street in York.
North Yorkshire Police say the assault happened at about midnight on Sunday (December 1) in Micklegate, and involved a younger man assaulting an older man which resulted in him suffering serious head injuries which needed hospital treatment.
A police spokesman said: "We’re particularly appealing for information about a man who is described as 19 to 20 years old, white, 6ft 1ins tall with brown hair wearing.
"He wore a navy RAB jacket, skinny blue jeans and green trainers.
