YMCA Yorkshire Coast's Social Band performed its end-of-season gig in the YMCA branch's Theatre Bar on Saturday (November 30).
The band, which consists of young musicians and is led by Mark Gordon, chooses its own songs, chords, set list, and instruments.
Mr Gordon's job is, according to a spokesperson, to keep the band members safe - "and ultimately play at least a bit of music."
The CEO of YMCA Yorkshire Coast, Liam Downey, said: "The band is youth-led: the style of music and how it is performed is completely up to the young people.
"They should be proud of having the confidence to perform in a crowded room and for performing so well."
YMCA's Social Band is open to any young people aged 11 to 18 who are musical.
The Social Band costs £3 per session, and runs on Saturdays from 1pm to 2.30pm and from 2.30pm to 4pm.
