Santa's on his way to Ryedale with the Lions.
Father Christmas and his band of helpers from Ryedale Lions Club will be flying around some 30 villages and towns of North Ryedale over the next three weeks to make it a Christmas to remember for the children and grown-ups who come out to meet him.
Santa's elves from Ryedale Lions Club will be with the sleigh and collecting door to door in their biggest fundraising event of the year.
Ryedale Lions sleigh organiser, Ben Hayes, said: "The delight on the faces of the children enjoying their special visit from Father Christmas is a joy to behold.
"This year some of Santa's visits to the smaller villages will have a central fixed stop around the main street or village hall so that as many people as possible can have a chance of seeing him. "We hope that these villages will take the opportunity to make it a real festive occasion for the whole community."
