POLICE in York are searching for a man after an attempted theft in the city.
North Yorkshire Police say a Ring doorbell was damaged during a suspected attempt to steal it at an address in Surtees Street in Clifton at about 3am on Friday, November 1.
A police spokesman said: "Please contact us if you recognise the man or have any information about the incident.
"Email katie.hicks@northyorkshire.police.uk if you can help.
"Alternatively, you can call North Yorkshire Police on 101, select option 2 and ask for Katie Hicks or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or via their website."
