Jack Berry House will host an Injured Jockeys Fund (IJF) Christmas Market this week.
The event will run from 2pm to 7pm on Friday, November 22, and feature stalls selling IJF merchandise, as well as a raffle, mulled wine, and mince pies.
All proceeds from the market will go directly to the IJF, which provides support for jockeys and their families.
The IJF was established in 1964 after life-altering accidents to jockeys Tim Brookshaw and, during the Grand National, to Paddy Farrell.
Both falls resulted in severe paralysis which ended the men's careers.
The charity has since aided thousands of jockeys and their families, distributing more than £22 million in grants.
According to its website, the charity has annual running costs of around £5m.
Jack Berry House is situated on Old Malton Road, Malton, YO17 7EY.
More information is available via phone on 01653 602 090.
