A MAN has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after a crash involving a car in York city centre.
North Yorkshire Police said it happened around 6.55pm last night (November 17) in Museum Street and a pedestrian and a grey Citroen C1 car were involved.
A force spokesperson said: “The pedestrian suffered serious injuries and was taken to York Hospital.
“The road was closed for around four hours while we investigated the scene and to allow the vehicle involved to be recovered.”
North Yorkshire Police is appealing for any witnesses to the collision, anyone who may have seen the vehicle prior to the collision, or anyone with relevant dashcam footage, to contact them.
