Troops in York fired off a 21 gun salute to celebrate King Charles' birthday.
At midday today (November 14) the Royal Artillery fired the rounds from Museum Gardens, over the River Ouse.
The celebrations saw music from a brass band, following a procession through St Helen's Square.
Hundreds of people lined the paths in Museum Gardens. Lord Lieutenant of North Yorkshire, Jo Ropner, was also in attendance.
This event joined a list of gun salutes that have been held in York since the King's coronation last year.
