RYEDALE paid its respects to the fallen servicemen and women on Remembrance Sunday.
Services were held across the district at churches and war memorials.
Hundreds of people gathered at Malton War Memorial in Yorkersgate with representatives from Malton and Norton Town Councils, the armed forces, cadets and youngsters from the Scout and Guide groups.
In Pickering, the Town Council worked with the Royal British Legion to organise the Remembrance Day Parade with support from Pickering Town Community Interest Company.
The parade followed a service in St Peter and St Paul's Church which was attended by The Town Mayor, Deputy Town Mayor and Councillors.
In Kirkbymoorside, a marching parade made its way to All Saints Church for a service and wreath laying, followed by a parade march back to Moorside Club. The event concluded with a short concert by Kirkbymoorside Town Brass Band.
In Helmsley, the Remembrance parade gathered at the Feversham Memorial, in Market Place.
The parade then made its way to Helmsley All Saints Church for a service with the congregation and parade participants.
