Law firm Ware & Kay, incorporating Pearsons & Ward Solicitors, which has offices in Malton, York, and Wetherby, has confirmed the hiring of a new associate.

Bethany Worthy will be joining the company as an associate for wills and probate.

Ms Worthy, originally from Scarborough, has experience in preparing various will types, from life trust through to discretionary trust, as well as in managing complex estates, such as agricultural estates with inheritance tax liability.

Her skill set also includes advising clients on powers of attorney.

Ms Worthy began her legal career in Pickering after qualifying as a solicitor in 2019.
