Stormy skies, rare days of sunshine and the amazing aurora are among the subjects for this month's photos from Malton Camera Club members.
Tony Horsfield, from the club said: "As the nights have drawn in and the weather has been miserable it has been harder to get out and about for our club members but we are looking forward to autumn colours, fungi, berries and Christmas.
"Meanwhile there have been at least some opportunities to get good shots in-between the rain.
"A great shot from Ian of the aurora was taken at Rosedale in the very early hours of the morning.
"Jackie a new member this year has produced lovely shots of Stanbrook Abbey at Wass and St. Michaels church at Coxwold.
"A rare day of sunshine allowed Nick to get this shot of Raby Castle.
"The sunrise shot of the Abbey steps at Whitby was taken by Sue. It is a classic shot when the conditions are just right.
Tony's shot through the North Bar arch at Beverley features a stormy sky with a brief sunny interlude.
"Finally it is back to the arboretum at Castle Howard for Robin's excellent detailed shot of a red squirrel.
Tony said the club has welcomed several new members this year but there is always room for more.
"If you are interested please contact us through our website and have a look at our Facebook site.'
"You can join us at Norton Trinity Methodist Church on the first Tuesday of the month at 7.30pm or visit us online at: https://www.maltoncameraclub.co.uk/ and https://www.facebook.com/groups/maltoncamclub"
This month's shots were provided by Nick Webster, Sue Hogarth, Tony Horsfield, Jackie Ayres, Ian Grimes and Dr Robin Wait.
