FIREFIGHTERS have been called in after reports of a house fire in a North Yorkshire village.
The county’s fire and rescue service say they were called at just after 7pm on Wednesday night (October 2) to Camblesforth.
A service spokesman said: “Crew from Selby responded to reports of a fire in the dining room of a property.
”Crew used two breathing apparatus and one hose reel jet to extinguish. The cause of this fire is believed to have been a lamp that had magnified sunlight on to a wooden table causing it to smoulder.”
