LOCAL people are invited to try their hand at playing a brass instrument at a 'Have A Go Day' this weekend.
Swinton Training Brass Band are hosting the event at Malton Library on Saturday, September 28 from 9.30am to 12 noon.
The open morning invites the community to explore the world of brass music in a fun and welcoming setting.
Tracey Popham, Band Secretary, said: "Whether you're a complete beginner, an improver, or a seasoned musician, this is your chance to try out a variety of brass instruments and meet the members of our award-winning band.

• Meet the Band: Discover more about Swinton Training Brass Band and how you can join our vibrant musical community.
Tracey said the event is open to both children and adults, making it a great opportunity for families or individuals to explore a new hobby.
