A man charged with murdering a York father has made his second appearance before a crown court judge.
Ian Franklin, 33, of no fixed address, of York, is alleged to have killed Greg Marshall, 35, also of York, on August 17.
The 33-year-old is also accused of carrying a knife during the incident in Roche Avenue, off Bell Farm Avenue, York.
He appeared before Leeds Crown Court this morning (Tuesday, September 17).
Judge Robin Mairs, after speaking to barristers for the prosecution and the defence, adjourned the case until November 1 and did not ask Franklin or his co-accused Jason Rhodes to enter their pleas.
Franklin appeared via a video link to the prison where he is being held on remand. He made no application for bail and was further remanded in custody.
His trial was set at his first hearing before Leeds Crown Court in August and will start on February 10 at the same court.
Rhodes, 33, also of no fixed address, York, faces charges of affray and carrying a knife related to the same incident. He appeared separately via video link from prison before the same court.
