A crew from Malton responded to an activated fire alarm inside a residential building at 6.06pm last night (Wednesday). The cause of this alarm was due to faulty equipment. Crews completed a full inspection including the attic space and found no sign of smoke or fire. Advice was given to the responsible person who is arranging an engineer to fix the alarm system. This was confirmed a false alarm.
