David Swann and accompanying musicians performed for the final instalment of a museum's Music at the Museum season, on Wednesday, August 28.
Presented by trustees and volunteers of Beck Isle Museum, in Pickering, the evening saw Mr Swann perform his original repertoire of songs inspired by people and places from the area.
Six concerts in all have been organised by trustee Bruce Pickup for the Music at the Museum season, and while the weather hasn't been as favourable this year as it was last year, money has been raised for crucial repair and development work at the historic Beck Isle Museum.
Pickering Town Council mayor, Joan Lovejoy, expressed gratitude to the audience, artists, sponsors, and Black Swan staff, along with trustees and volunteers, for their help in continuing to make the museum a part of the community and an attractive tourist attraction.
An array of museum events, including a Behind the Scenes event, craft days, and Christmas Fare, are anticipated for the autumn.
