A beloved, scatterbrained stand-up comic will bring her routine to Scarborough in October.
Shaparak Khorsandi, who reassessed her life following an ADHD diagnosis in her moving memoir of last year, will perform at the Stephen Joseph Theatre on Wednesday, October 2.
The show will be, among other things, a love letter to letter-writing, a trip down memory lane through Ms Khorsandi's early years as a comic, and a fast-paced tour of a hysterical if sometimes frantic brain.
The British Comedy Award nominee's ADHD diagnosis has helped her to understand many aspects of her behaviour and personality, as chronicled in her book Scatterbrain.
This national tour of the same name sees Ms Khorsandi use her newly liberated mind as a springboard for a rollercoaster ride of laughs.
Scatterbrain will take place at 7.45pm on Wednesday, October 2 at the Stephen Joseph Theatre.
Tickets are available from the box office on 01723 370541 and online at www.sjt.uk.com
