A POLICE search involving a helicopter was carried out in North Yorkshire in the early hours of this morning (Thursday) following reports of a missing person
A police spokesperson said: "We were alerted to a man who was missing from their home in Kirkbymoorside shortly before 3am this morning (Thursday 22 August).
"Officers were deployed to the area to search for the man. A police helicopter (NPAS) was also used to help search a large open area.
"The man was located at just before 5am this morning."
