Ryedale Parkinsons Support Group enjoyed a recent trip to Butterwick Alpaca Retreat.
The group had their monthly get together at the Alpaca Retreat.
Around 16 people attended, and the weather stayed dry for the afternoon.
A spokesperson for the group said: "They all enjoyed the freedom of being able to walk amongst the Alpacas, some with their babies, some of last year’s crias and another paddock with the ones used for the walks. All the Alpacas and crias were very friendly and the group were able to hand feed them without any concerns."
"Anna who runs the Retreat was super helpful and knowledgeable and has a real passion and love for all the animals on the Retreat which included sheep, lambs, goats, guinea pigs, rabbits, chickens and ducks. Sophie and Grace who help at the Retreat were also very helpful and knowledgeable about all the animals.
"Anna was also able to offer a facility for the group to enjoy an afternoon tea which they had taken along. They all enjoyed a chat whilst nibbling on sandwiches and cakes, drinking tea and coffee together.
"All in all, it was a most enjoyable and relaxing afternoon."
