As a resident in Rillington I must complain most bitterly about the traffic management of this event at the weekend.

The A64 was nose to tail and has been all weekend. It is scandalous that local people are unable to go about their normal business. Indeed, my brother and his wife were prevented from visiting us because of the traffic chaos and decided to return home.

Heaven help any of us who might have a medical emergency.

I suppose we will have to suffer the same situation not only when the event finishes today and throughout the whole of tomorrow.

You cannot treat people in this way as the Scampston estate is a wholly unsuitable venue for such a large-scale gathering because there is only one way in and one way out of the site.

Please think carefully about holding any future events here and consider what alternative sites might be available.
