Families dressed up as their favourite comic book characters to raise cash for charity in Old Malton.
They raised £190 for the Family Fund through their efforts at the War Memorial Hall over the weekend (August 10 to 11).
Thirty-five stall holders were at the event, with a tombola, raffle and more raising money for the charity, which delivers grants for families raising a disabled or seriously ill child or young people on a low income across the UK.
Amy King organised the event and hailed it a success.
"I'd just like to say a huge thank you to all the local businesses that supported the event by donating raffle prizes and to all the amazing people that came to visit us. The events can't go ahead without your support, so thank you,” she said.
Businesses that donated raffle prizes included York City football club, Piglets Adventure Farm, Burnley Football Club, Annie's Café, Clip N’ Climb, Spice 4 U and Wizard Walk of York.
“Thank you to all the local residents that helped to support the event. Hopefully we will see you all at the next,” Amy added.
