TWO people were taken to hospital following a crash on the A64 yesterday (Thursday).
Emergency services were called at 2.57pm to the two vehicle crash near the Castle Howard junction.
A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue said: "Crews from Malton, York and Acomb responded to a two vehicle RTC were two persons were trapped in the vehicles. Crews extricated the casualties and handed them into the care of ambulance crews to be transported to hospital for treatment."
