Scarborough's Alpamare Waterpark has reopened under a new operator, in time for the summer holidays.
Advised by Andrew Jackson Solicitors LLP, Malton-based company Flamingo Land was named the preferred operator by North Yorkshire Council earlier this year.
The North Bay attraction closed in December 2023 when the previous operator went into administration.
Kirsty Barsby, real estate & property partner at Andrew Jackson Solicitors, said: “Everyone involved has worked really hard to ensure that Alpamare is open for business in time for the busy holiday period.
"It has been a pleasure to assist the team at Flamingo Land on what is a key leisure facility in Scarborough and I wish them every success for their latest venture."
Built in 2016, the facility offers visitors a wave pool, splash and play pool, four slides, two outdoor pools, and a café and terrace bar, with plans to add an alpine-themed spa and treatment zone in the coming months.
