Malton Town Council has been successful with a grant application for £9,090 from National Lottery Awards.

The funding will be used for the refurbishment of the multi-use games area at Rainbow Lane.

The project includes new roof nets to the existing MUGA which will stop the issue of balls being kicked into the road and neighbouring properties in addition to four new sports wall target panels for basketball, football, cricket and netball.

The Pump Track is due to be installed week commencing Monday, August 12.

The Clerk will be attending the site on a daily basis to monitor progress.
