A women's institute enjoyed a harmonious performance by a handbell ringing group this month.
Using bells that have been recently refurbished by a bell foundry in Whitechapel, Northallerton Handbell Ringers delighted Brandsby Women's Institute with their specially adapted musical pieces.
The ringers even managed to play in time without the need of a conductor, exhibiting great concentration in doing so.
Brandsby Women's Institute very much appreciated the group's performance, and thanked them for coming out to provide entertainment on what turned out to be a wet evening.
It is hoped that the Institute's summer party, in August, will be free of the thunderstorms that took place during their July meeting.
