OVER 100 properties are currently without electricity in Malton.
The power cut was reported at around 8am.
It is effecting a number of businesses as well as the traffic lights at Butcher Corner.
Northern Power said they are aware of the issues and engineers are on the scene.
Power is expected to be restored to all properties by 10.30am.
