A day of family themed fun is being planned this July at West Heslerton Sports Field.
On Sunday, July 7, the Friends of West Heslerton Primary School are inviting families to join them for a fun filled day of bouncing, throwing, tugging and more.
A spokesperson for the Friends said: "The event will offer everything you need to make it a fabulous day out for the whole family.
"Children, and adults alike, can enjoy a ‘Gladiator’ themed obstacle course that includes the popular mighty dual event! Gentler activities, of course, are on offer including face painting and many traditional fair games.
"The emergency services will be demonstrating their vehicles on the day.
"For those who still have energy after all this, the day will end with children’s races and a giant tug of war.
"Bring a picnic rug and stay for the day enjoying the fabulous hog roast and BBQ, teas, coffees, fresh baked cakes and delicious ice creams.
The Summer Fair, which will take place from 11am to 3pm, will raise funds for West Heslerton Primary School.
