Malton and Norton Rotary “Posh” Shop
Its that time of year again when the Rotary Club of Malton and Norton opens the door of their Charity “Posh” shop selling preloved, high quality second hand items. This year they are located at the bottom of Wheelgate opposite WH Smith. They are open for four weeks beginning on Friday June 21.
Margaret Pepper, President of the Club stated “The shop is one of our major fund raising efforts. This will be our 12th year of opening and we have been fortunate in raising many thousands of pounds. The money raised is used to provide help and support in our local community and to assist in Rotary international campaigns. The purple crocus campaign is a prime example, helping to eradicate polio throughout the world.
We are indebted to the Fitzwilliam Estate in allowing us to use this shop facility for the 2024 fund raising efforts. Equally we are grateful of the donations we receive from local residents and the interest they take in our shop. Please visit us!”
The shop is open for four weeks beginning on Friday, June 21, Monday to Saturday 10am to 4pm.
