Crews from Malton responded to reports of a smashed window in a retail premises with smoke billowing out in the early hours of this morning (Friday).
On arrival at the property in Yorkersgate at 1.18am, crews found this to be a security cloaking system that had activated when a window was smashed.
Crews assisted by ventilating using a positive pressure ventilation fan to clear the smoke.
