Hovingham’s next Repair Café and Community Hub is back next week.
The Community Hub will take place on Saturday, June 8, 10am to 12noon at Hovingham Village Hall.
Caroline Davis from Hovingham Project Purple which organises the Repair Café and Community Hub, said: "Our volunteer fixers will do their best to mend or advise about your repairs, free of charge.
"Our experienced fixers include bikes, joinery, jewellery, sewing, computers/technology, electrical, toys etc.
"Free bags, aprons, pan scrubs, fiddle quilts, children’s dresses, pet beds and zip pouches are created from unwanted fabrics are available.
"In the Community Hub, you can find out more about air source heat pumps (on display), the community’s thermal imaging camera, grants available for renewables, electric car charging, discounts on loft insulation and more."
