Westgate in Pickering is due to be closed
North Yorkshire Council is to carry out carriageway resurfacing and drainage work on Westgate in Pickering.
The work will start on March 18 and from then until April 8, there will be temporary traffic lights between 9.30am and 3pm on weekdays.
From April 9 to 12 there will be a full road closure from 6pm to midnight each day.
A spokesperson for the council said: "We are told that these dates are subject to change depending on weather conditions and are subject to other emergencies on the highway network causing delays.
"Residents should have received a letter informing them about this work, and if anyone has any queries they should contact North Yorkshire Council on 01609 780780.2
